YIELD: SERVES 2-4

INGREDIENTS

  • 1-2 LBS OF FRESH MUSSELS
  • FEW TABLESPOONS OF OLIVE OIL
  • TWO GARLIC CLOVES (CHOPPED)
  • A TOUCH OF SALT AND PEPPER
  • A FEW SPLASHES OF RED WINE
  • A BOTTLE OF THE WORLDS BEST VODKA SAUCE BROUGHT TO YOU BY FRATELLI AND CO.
  • A FEW SPRIGS OF PARSLEY
  • FRESH SHAVED PARMESAN TO FINISH THE PLATE

DIRECTIONS

1. HEAT A LARGE SAUTÉ PAN ON HIGH
2. ADD OLIVE OIL
3. ADD THE FRESH MUSSELS AND TOSS AROUND FOR A FEW MINUTES
4. ADD THE CHOPPED GARLIC, SALT AND PEPPER
5. SAUTÉ UNTIL GARLIC IS SWEATING
6. SPLASH THE PAN WITH SOME RED WINE
7. REDUCE FOR 2 MINUTES
8. POP THAT BEAUTIFUL BOTTLE OF FRATELLI ALLA VODKA SAUCE AND SIMMER FOR A FEW MINUTES MAKING SURE ALL THE MUSSELS ARE OPEN.
9. TURN OFF HEAT, PLATE BEAUTIFUL BOWL FOR SHARING AND FINISH IT OFF WITH SOME FRESH SHAVED PARMESAN AND PARSLEY.

DON’T FORGET THE BREAD TO SOAK UP ALL THAT SAUCE AT THE BOTTOM OF THE BOWL.
